ILam Church

Biplete New Life Church- Ilam, border of India is also a part of the Feet Ministries of Nepal, which was well established in 2006.
May 2005,I pastor Krishna and Yam were visited Ilam, traveling by bus about 22 hours as we were invited to introduce Jesus Christ first time in the area called Mabu and Biplete.

This village also totally unknown about the gospel, People of that village thought we are very different people, going to do something new which they never experienced. First night, there were about 20 people gathering, we show them Jesus movie in Nepalese language. Next morning we started to preach the gospel house to house, our 3 day mission, many people gave their life to Christ.

A miracle took place over there. We stayed with the family where the man of the house was mute for 11 years. He is 75 years old and his name is Kajiman. First day, we asked him some questions about his problem, he started to explain by writing one the paper that he went to many places to find the treatment, he went to the many Hindus temple, he offered chickens, goats at the temples, finally he was been believing to his village witch doctor, (As we met his village witch doctor who also accepted the Lord Jesus Christ), I wrote him back, do you believe in Jesus Christ, he said, yes. We explained him more about the Lord and his love to the human beings; I told him the story of Zechariah and Mark Chap.7 also about Jesus heals a Deaf and Mute man. He could hear and understand what I told him. This man can read and write very easily. We prayed for him, we gave him Nepalese Bible and asked him to read. He tried to open his mouth; I encouraged him to read loudly.

While we were been in that village for 3 days, Third day, we were preparing to go to Darjeeling, part of India, he came to us with big smile as well as with tears of joy and he hugged us and spoke loudly, "Thank you, Thank you, Praise the Lord". His mouth opened. We baptized him in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. He said, I want to go with you where you are going. Then he traveled with us all the way to Darjeeling and he returned to his home and we returned to Kathmandu. Because of him, his village peoples came to us and they wondered many of them ready to receive the Lord and at the same time, the witch doctor of that village accepted the Lord, as he came to Kathmandu with us and he baptized with other 6 people of our church in Kathmandu. There are many traditional people who are very much doomed by their tribal culture. We preached them as well. We distributed 40 Nepalese New Testament Bibles and some free tracts and books in that village. We appointed one man name Pastor Dinesh Gurung. Who came to Kathmandu and receive the short term Bible Training and returned to Ilam and the church in Biplete, Ilam well established in January 2006.Now Pastor Denesh is working there as a full time pastor need support monthly $100. Please do continue pray for him, his family and also for this village where we can build the church like in Gorkha.
