Praise the Lord,

There were 40 pastors and leaders from different churches joined this prayer, we were singing, praising and praying on the boats, peoples around the river, from the both sides of the rivers were amazed to see this new Rafting program, some places were very scary, current of the water was very strong, we were up side down but we all are okay, after completed the Rafting, we were gathering for the fellowship at the church near by the Trisuli River, church welcomed our Rafting prayer team, we thanked God.

This is my new and first experience really encouraged  me and my faith more strong and I am really delighted to see how God using us to share the gospel and glorify Him in different way.

We would like to pray that God would open the door for you to join in the Rafting Prayer in the river of the mountains.

Letter from Pastor Krishna Easter 2010:

Good News
“After His suffering, Jesus showed Himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs
That He was alive.” - Acts 1:3

Contrary to popular opinion, I, your pastor, do NOT like to cook and bake.  I LIKE to eat.  I have learned to cook and bake as a means to my ultimate end: EATING!  I’ve learned some things along the way.  “Fold in” is not the same as “stir in”, which is different from “blend in”, which is different from “beat in”.  Bakers and cooks know these different terms.  Those of you who eat only will have to talk to the cooks who keep you fed.  But I can illustrate my point this way.  Imagine getting the one mouthful of cake that has all of the salt called for in the recipe.  You can see how these terms have importance to the cake, even if you do not know what the terms mean.

This is exactly what Jesus did after He rose from the dead: He began to re-assemble His followers.  The Easter day appearances recorded in the Gospel accounts confirm what Luke tells us in Acts 1:3.  Jesus met with His disciples on various occasions.  Each time He would fold, stir and blend more of them back into the company of the convinced.  Being with the living Jesus was their common experience.  Being together as a group with Jesus alive from the dead was their shared experience.

Forty days of near-daily encounters with Jesus were sufficient to grow the expectation that every day would bring a new opportunity to fellowship with eternity.  The habit of expecting Jesus to show up dominated the experience of those who were being folded, blended and stirred into the community of faith in the Messiah.  After Pentecost, a day in the world could not be spent apart from the risen Savior.  After Pentecost, worship could not be worship without the continuing presence of the risen Lord.  Call it what you want, but when the church gets together without Jesus it isn’t fellowship.  Check it out.  Get a concordance and look up the word “fellowship” as it’s used in the Bible.  Suppers and bowling socials are not included.

If the resurrection has significance to Jesus at all, it is in two inseparable ways.  The first expectation Jesus has is that you and I would become actively “convinced” that He is alive.  We expect Him to show up: day by day, situation by situation, blessing or problem.  That is the bedrock of our life with Him now.  Jesus’ second expectation is that we would meet as the “company of the convinced”.  Regular worship should be anything but routine.  We expect Him to demonstrate His presence, power, love, forgiveness, comfort, wisdom, and Lordship when we assemble in His company.  As we worship, He is introducing Himself and convincing others that He is alive.  So guess what happens next?!  They get folded, blended and stirred into the fellowship of the New Life Church- Kathmandu  where Jesus lives!  Come believing, come expecting Jesus to do great things!
Happy Easter in Jesus’ love,

Pastor Krishna B Pariyar
